Technology Update
Overall, the internet, television, and security systems appear to be working well. However, there have been occasional delays in the audio/video coordination in the television signal. If you are experiencing this problem, please contact Sharon and the signal can be reset.
Negotiations are continuing through the broker for a new technology provider. You will be notified as soon as there is a solid solution.
Please continue to contact Quadra Media with any problems, or if they do not respond you can contact Sharon Andersen at (435) 755-7829 or sandersen@redeagledevelopment.com.

I AGREE WITH THE COMMENT ABOVE.
Let me predict the update for July's newsletter.
TECHNOLOGY UPDATE:
We are still in negotiations. Please be patient.
Oh, and I might as well give you August's update as well.
TECHNOLOGY UPDATE:
We are still in negotiations. Please be patient.
Give me a break, you guys are a complete joke. You have been in negotiations for over 4 months now. It is pretty sad that I can not even watch a program that I am paying for because it has lines in it or the sound does not match the program. OrI have an annoying humming noise in the background. I really wish I received what I was promised to begin with. I am also getting a dish. You guys are worthless, I am sure glad my $55 dollars a month is going into your pocket. Hope you got something nice with it!!!!
I know you are getting very impatient regarding the technology, as are we. We are at least as motivated as you to get this situation resolved because we feel an first of all an obligation to you the residents and second it hurts the subdivision if people are unhappy. We feel we are very close to an agreement with a large reputable company. We are not willing to bring another small company in because of the problems we have experienced. So yes it is taking longer for a new provider to come in because they are large, more cumbersome to work with, and they do their homework. I think the wait will be worth it in the end.
Now regarding problems you are having with the TV. We can't fix it if we don't know about it. Did you call Quadra? Did they respond? If not, please call Sharon so we can intervene and get the problem fixed. We have a local repair person that can trouble shoot problems but we don't know about the problem if you don't call.
Which station or stations are you having problems with? We periodically check our TV in the model and if it is working well we assume your's it also. But please don't accept poor service. Call us so we can respond. Sharon at 755-7829.
Regarding comments from the second "anonymous." I do understand your frustration. I hope the above explanation gives you some feeling of understanding our plight. You are correct, we have been negotiating for 4 months. We were told the company would be more responsive than they have been. I apologize for this. We have done everything except quit pursuing them, because we really want them to take over the technology component of the subdivision. We do not want to get another small local provider unless that is our only option. So we have stayed with the current nationally known company in hopes that our patience with them will ultimately benefit the development.
Regarding the $55 HOA dues. None of that goes to the developer or to the technology company. It is all spent on items directly related to landscaping maintenance, snow removal, insurance on the buildings, road maintenance, water, etc. NONE of this money goes into the developer's account. First of all that would be totally illegal and secondly, we are honest people and would never mis appropriate your funds.
Again, if you have technology issues, they can be fixed, but we need to know of the problems. As you know dishes are not allowed in the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions. We will get this situation resolved. We must. We have everything to lose if we don't so please know we are working on this issue everyday.

"We were told the company would be more responsive than they have been" Awesome...going with another company that is unresponsive.
I hope that this new larger company puts recievers in EVERYONES homes, as that is the only way we can get HDTV or DVR.
Odd, "...dishes are not allowed in the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions." I know of at least one house that has a dish on it.
I have a sister that lives in Salt Lake City, and their development has a similar package as we do. Except they actually get what they were promised and more. She really loves it. She told me that the company is called Broad Weave. From their website it looks pretty nice too, www.broadweave.com maybe you can contact them and they will actually respond. I know they are not small because they just took over iProvo for a pretty penny.
Maybe that will give you a lead on a company that will not take 4 months to negotiate with. Their prices look pretty good too! I would pay $103.00 if it actually worked.
Don,
There needs to be some sort of backup phone number to call, because Sharon doesn't work weekends. It is Sunday night, and the sprinklers in front of our house have been on for 30 hours, and they will continue to run all night. I have tried to call Sharon multiple times, and there is no way to get a hold of her. What are we supposed to do in a situation like this? This is hands down, the worst management of HOA money that I have ever seen (not to metion all the other times they are watering in the middle of the day). I have had to sit here all day and watch our HOA money just keep running down the drain. I know you have had some major problems with your landscaping, and will continue to have the problems, but this is inexcusable. Get it figured out.
I decided to go and check out the sprinkler situation. If anyone was planning on using the garden, you're going to have to wait a while, because it is mud. Way to go Bridgerland Meadows. I can already see it...they are going to try and raise HOA fees to try and cover high water prices. This mistake is something that should NOT come out of HOA money.
The Situation regarding the internet and TV have Not improved since I have been here. I continually am having problems with SLOW connections, Lagging internet, and drop offs in service. If any of you have looked at where our internet traffic goes through we are using Rigidtechs network backbone. If you compare the Latency in Logan compared to the other areas it is horrible. You can find this information at
http://www.rigidtech.com/index.php?content=status.
Latency should never be above the low teens in Miliseconds.
I have emailed the support people at Rigidtech several times and nothing seems to get improved yet they have told me in e-mails that they have purchased more hardware to remedy the situation...I have yet to see it improve.
The TV listings make it impossible to use any sort of DVR to record Shows....HUGE issue.
Instead of a Once a Month Update on the "Negotiations" I would Expect at least a Bi-weekly update on what is going on.
Please update us on this blog more frequently about the situation.
INTERNET IS NOT WORKING AGAIN! SURPRISE SURPRISE!
Still nothing...what a joke.
