Letter From David Springer

May 7, 2008

To Whom It May Concern:

Bridgerland has retained AbbaCom Inc., specifically David Springer to represent them in reviewing, changing and negotiating the telecommunications systems at the property. It has been determined that the infrastructure has been designed and built properly but that there have been numerous problems with vendors and a clear absence of a consistent quality of service.

With that in mind solutions are being reviewed that will provide industry standard systems and products, with a quality of service that is expected in today’s high demand world. Negotiations are on going with several solutions that will bring an end to these problems.

We understand that time is critical and are doing everything we can to facilitate a rapid resolution to the problem. Please find attached a short history of my experience.

Sincerely,

David L. Springer
President

I am glad to see that something is actually happening. It is a little frustrating that you are still in the negotiation stage and not much further into solving our problems. It has taken you a very long time to find someone to negotiate a new provider. Especially since you said you were looking for a new provider two months ago. I hope a change is made very soon. Also as a suggestion please provide us with what we were promised to begin with. Which was "300+ channels, HDTV, and Ultra High Speed Internet." Before looking for new technologies to waste your time. That would make me far less angry if we actually got what we were paying for. Especially the HDTV and high speed internet, since our system was supposed to be as advertised "... a top of the line technology package".

Hopefully this new guy will be good enough to actually see our point of view and not just ignore us like we have seen in the past. I guess you can talk about how great he is all you want, but until I see the changes take place I don't believe a word you guys say. There has been to many promises without results for me to trust anything you say anymore. But I am keeping my fingers crossed that this one is true!

I agree with anonoymous... we need faster internet speeds... Currently with Ridgitec (the IP that Quadra Media Works uses) we have avg internet speeds of 1322 kb/s for downloads... to give you an example of how slow this is in Logan the times are as listed Comcast 10539 kb/s Digis 4279 kb/s Road Runner 3891 kb/s QWest 1534 1534 kb/s. As you see these other internet providers not only provide better local customer support but much faster internet speeds and redundant systems... Please decide wisly..

I agree with both comments above. Yet another month has past and nothing new has happened. We just keep hearing the same load of crap every time. I have been here for 2 years and nothing has ever changed. I am putting my house up for sale because of it. I will also be sure to spread the word that Bridgerland Meadows is not the place you want to live. I have already told several people that were interested no to buy here, and I will be sure to tell many more. Good work management, you guys have done the crappiest job I have ever seen!

Do you really think that bad mouthing Bridgerland Meadows is going to help you sell your house or increase the property value and re-saleability? I agree we have a lot of problems but we need to work together to make Bridgerland Meadows the palace we want to live. I don't want to stay forever but I really don't want to loose a ton of money because nobody will live here after all the unhappy residents bad mouth the place. Don't let poor management set the tone for the entire community. I think this is a great place to live with great people. But I do agree some thing MUST change and soon.

Erik, I agree with you to a certain extent and I agree with the comment above yours that something needs to happen. My only argument would be, everyone has tried to work with management. Everyone has been patient and willing to have outages, but at what point do you draw the line? They obviously are not making any efforts to make us happen or to rectify the issues. I want to sell my home from a profit just like the next guy. But there is no way I would recommend this place to a person I know well or love. I made the mistake of moving here and I would not want to put someone else in that situation.

I don't think you should go around bad mouthing Bridgerland Meadows and I agree that it is a bad thing to do. Especially if they are trying to sell their home. But I also can see where that person is coming from. At some point or another something has got to change or you, me, and the person that made the comment above you are going to loose money on our homes. People hate it here, not because of the community or the people. But because they can't work from home, or watch the programming they like to watch on TV, or the yard is not taken care of the way it should. We have seen several comments just on this blog proving that. It is time for the change to happen. It is time to stop waiting for them, and time to start making a difference and fixing the problems.
