Neighborhood News
The developers to the north of our development are beginning a project that will include town homes and perhaps condominiums. The first two buildings nearest 400 west will be 3 story buildings with 12 units. It is unknown if they will be selling these as town homes or offering them for rent. They will have several other building types, some of which will be similar to those in our development. The property to the south of our development is up for sale and it appears to be zoned as a multi-family residential area.

I'm starting to think that we should be concerned with the parking situation. There's tons of guest parking stalls available yet people park on the side of the road which we all know is creating a big hazard when driving because only one car can fit on the road. It's ok to park in the guest parking stalls, I know that I do it everyday and my neighbors do it also.
Booting people that live here is so awesome of you! Thanks! I love living here!
As we all know, we have a booting policy here at Bridgerland Meadows. Everyone has been notified of this when they move in. You have two parking spaces in your garage. The guest parking is for your "guests" not for the residents.
I have had issues with my guests being booted just after midnight. I agree with the policy of booting. In fact it is very logical. I do however wish there was a posted time of after what hours booting will occur. That way if a guest is staying longer then expected we at least of a measure of time to go by, or know if they are staying longer then that period they should advise the booting company. I think that would help greatly, and should not cost the HOA or management anything.
To make a note on the first persons comment, I do think there is a serious issue with parking on the street. Not only do I find it unsafe, but it also makes our community look bad. It drives me cray that I can not even see down the road for my own protection when pulling out of the drive way. It is also very annoying that it makes it so only one car can pass at a time, which is also not safe. I think something should be done about it. There should be at least 25 feet from each entrance and exit painted red so that we can see when pulling out of the complex. There should also be room for the fire department to access the fire hydrant, incase of a fire. Both of these requests would be little or no cost to the development and would help the safety of the community.
I guess we missed the whole being told about the booting policy when we moved in, no surprise.
There are signs posted right in front of every guest parking space that a permit is required for overnight parking. Also, there are signs at every alley entrance. Sharon also gives out information about the booting policy. We don't want to see our residents get booted! Its not hard to call the booting company's pager number (750-9300) and get a permit for your guests.
We do not know what hours the booting company patrols our area. It is simple enough to just call the booting company (750-9300) and let them know you have a guest staying. Give them a description of the vehicle and location and they will not boot it.
We do need to address the parking on the street. This will have to change come winter. We would like everyone to park in the parking spaces near the mail boxes. This would help greatly with the hazard we have along 1530 North and 500 West.
Once the storage sheds are built the parking spaces near the mailboxes will be for guests only and will also have to have a permit. But, until then please use them for parking. No permit is required at this time.
So what do we do when the booting company doesn't call back? That has happened a few times.
