Technology Update

Dave Springer, the agent in charge of negotiations for a new technology provider has notified the developers that the primary company he is working with is preparing a contract for review. They are a large company so things are progressing slowly, but it is hoped that a solution will be reached in the near future.

Quadra Media Works is no longer administering the technology services. If you experience any problems with your internet, television, phone, or security please contact Sharon Andersen at (435) 755-7829. In the interim period until a contract is established with a permanent provider, AbbaCom Inc. (Dave Springer’s company) will be servicing the technology services with Michael from Rigidtech handling the Internet services at the head end and Brett handling the local service issues and installations. Sharon will be doing the billing and taking all the customer calls to direct them to the appropriate provider (technology, billing, technical support, or installations). If your television service is experiencing problems, please call her with the problematic channel numbers as in many instances the problem can be addressed with minor adjustments in the head end.

Is anyone else having problems reaching Christina Beacham or anyone at Quadra media works? I am and I am so f*cking fed up with it I could just puke! You call the number on the invoice and it's not even a real number! No real surprise there! All I want to do it pay my bill but it seems like that is a task that is too big for their small little brains.

I think we need to sign a petition, take legal action or something. This internet is a joke.

I am going crazy right now...banging my head against the wall. This is is a joke. We live in the year 2008 and I had better internet when I was on tour in Iraq!!!! Something has to be done NOW! I am fed up with all of this crap. TV doesn't sinc with sound...HUGE latency when on the web...give me a break!!!!

It would be helpful of you would identify yourself so we could help you solve the problem. Christina Beacham has not worked for Quadra for at least a month. As you know Quadra's parent company, First Line Security is bankrupt. We have been working with Quadra to keep the system up until a large reputable company can take over. We are getting very close to consummating an agreement.

We have just contracted with Abba Com, the same people negotiating a contract, to handle the billing, tech calls, and service until the new company takes over.

No longer call the Quadra's toll free number for customer service. Call Sharon at 755-7829 instead and she will direct your call to the appropriate person.

Thank you,
Don Barringer

I have to agree with the people above. I have better internet on a 56k modem at times. It is totally and utterly ridiculous. You all know that the TV is not in sync with the audio. There is no reason to identify ourselves because it is happening to everyone. Don't act like it is only happening to one person.

You guys are always in negotiations or "working on a contract". Mean while the people that live here and have no other source of internet or television are left here to suffer. It is obvious that non of the developers live in the community, because they have no idea how truly horrible it is. It totally ruins the living experience here. It is pretty bad that I have to go somewhere else to do any really work on the internet. We don't have HD programming or anything, All of which was promised when we purchased our home, and by the way is still being advertised. What a crock, any they say they are looking out for our best interest. What they are really doing is trying to get as much $ as they possibly can out of us. Just let us choose our own services so we can actually get something we are paying for. Stop being complete asses about it and give us what we request. After all it is our homes, and we should have the ultimate say in what we receive.

Hey everyone I talked to my realtor today and he said that there's news that the HOA is finally getting us a contract with Comcast! He said that the HOA said that it would still be a month or two but that they are talking contracts with them! Praise the lord!

Hey are you still under negotiations with Quadra.. This is a flipping joke. I'm so glad that I'm selling my town house... Thanks for fixing my garage floor. Oh wait that was me that spent 3 days fixing your work..

We have notified you that Quadra Media has gone bankrupt. We are not negotiating with them.. We are negotiating with several other larger company's to take over the service. We hope this will happen within the next 30 to 45 days.

If you have warranty (garage floor repair) please contact Sharon she has a work order in for it and it will be taken care of when they do all the concrete patch work.

It's funny that we are told that they are negotiating with a very large reputable company, and now they are saying that they are working with several. Are we back to where we started?
