Parking

Logan City does not allow any overnight parking on 1539 North or 500 West between November 15 and February 28. They will ticket for parking overnight. We will provide one parking pass, per unit, as needed (to park in guest parking along the North side of 1530 North). Please see Sharon for a pass. We have a limited number of spaces available so these parking passes will be given out on a first come, first serve basis.

Why do we have so much guest parking and not enough actual parking for the people who
actually live here? I appreciate the fact that my guests
have places to park, but I would much rather have parking
for myself and my teenage kids than my guests that I only have once in a while. I agree that everyone should have their 2 cars in their garages, but we need parking for our kids and our renters on top of that. I know that it's not your fault that we can't park on the street, but all I'm asking is that you atleast consider turning all the guest parking (including the ones by the mailboxes and the ones inbetween the houses) into normal parking for the current residents that live here and let us deal with our guests. Atleast for the winter time when we can't park on the street, summer it can go back to guest parking. PLEASE consider this, I know that it would help me but many other residents as well. Thank you for issuing guest passes it really will help. Thank you!

Dear Cindy Loo:
We do make the "guest parking" spaces between the mailboxes available to residents for long term parking over the winter. We will not be able to allow long term parking in the guest spaces in between the houses. We once did that and residents complained and we had to institute the booting policy to keep those guest spaces open. See Sharon for a long term parking permit by the mailboxes.

Initially these units were intended for purchase and for renters in very limited situations. It seems that there are now more renters than owners. I see people not using their garages properly (too much junk in them to fit a vehicle) or people owning oversized trucks that do not fit and therefore, make the streets congested (or park in areas they shouldn’t). When the development was planned, I am sure there was ample guest parking.

when are the grass and the fences going to finally be put in on phase 3? It makes it look really bad and it has been sitting there with nothing happening for a very long time. Also the parking by the mailboxes that is available to all of us right? there wont be any fines or boots is basically what i am asking.

Skyler,
With the winter weather and not being able to park on the city streets overnight. You will need a parking permit to park in the spaces near the mailboxes. There will be one permit per unit issued. Please see Sharon at the model home to obtain one. Thanks!

I am actually ok with the parking. I hate that people park on the streets, and it looks bad too. But overall the parking is ok. My only complaint is there are no specific hours for booting cars.

I had family over watching a movie at my house and they left at 1 AM only to have their cars booted. I didn't think it was very fair because they had no intention of staying over night. If there would have been specific times posted they would not have been booted.
