Technology Update
We have been able to consistently provide 3Mb down and 896Kb upload speed for the past month. Some individuals are still experiencing some issues and we are working diligently to trouble shoot these problems. We are still not charging for internet service until we feel that everyone on the system is receiving the same service.
Again, if you want to upgrade your television services, please contact Sharon. She can currently get most upgrades that you may want with the exception of HD.We know (and we agree) that you that you get tired hearing this, but we are still awaiting the contract review from a permanent provider.

So I have the standard cable right now and cant even watch BYU and Utah on the Mtn channel. Give me a break
We can't watch the Jazz Games either. Sure seems like we are getting ripped off. We pay $59 a month for the TV portion. I can get more for channels that I want for $39 dollars from several other providers.
I think it is time we band together and take over the HOA. It is possible, and I think we should start getting a petition ready to do so. It is time that the Home Owners take control of their services, especially since that is what the HOA is supposed to be. At this rate they will never finish the development, we need to make the change now!

The Jazz games are broadcast through DISH, but it is on their upgraded package. DISH also offers the Fox Sports Network, including Jazz games in our development, but one must upgrade to their digital package. Several residents have and are very satisfied. If you are referring basically to technology issues, please know that the major provider we have been working with made their final on-site visit last week. Hence, we are very close to consummating an agreement. In the meanwhile our internet and TV have been functioning very well. There are several upgrades you can get to enhance your system. Can we cancel portions of our technology package? With the economy the way it is, and with my job in limbo. I would like to cancel the Cable portion to save and pay other more important bills. Is that at all possible?

Ok so how much is the upgrade, and which channels are available? Some hunting ones? Also any news on the internet? Its been good this week, but last week was problamatic. It was on then off, and back and forth.

There was a upgrade done on the system about a month ago. There was a back up system installed so if we had any fluctuation in power it would not effect the system. He also put a limit on how much one person can use.
Canceling a portion of your technology package is not a option. We have to pay the services for the development as a whole.

Just so you know Don. They TV and Audio were out of sync last night again. Seems your amazing system that you speak of still does not exist.
The tv and audio are consistently out of sync. It gets nearly a full commercial off. It seems petty to complain about, which is maybe why the developers don't really think it's a big deal....but when you live here and there are consistent little problems, one starts to notice as the $99 check is written each month...
Third day the tv is out of sync on fox 13. I called Dave and he said that it is the sender of the signal. If that is true then why don't the four friend I called that have dish network have the same problems, and why wouldn't fox 13 fix it within 3 days. $99 a month times 12 months is $1188. That's a lot to pay for something that doesn't work.

Can we get some information about who the new providers are going to be? Since we are going to be paying for the services it only seems proper that we know who is going to provide us with internet, TV and security.

The provider we have been working with is a national company. They will have all of the channels and options you want. When we hear more we will let you know.
Seems like you guys know very little about a company you are about to do business with. I am pretty sure if the only thing I knew about a provider was that it was "national" I would do business with someone else.
I would want to know details, like internet speeds, tv quality, security system offerings, TV programming, HD Availability, etc. Seems pretty strange that you do not even know any of that information. And if you do why can't that info be passed on to us?
All seems a little fishy to me.
We know a lot about the company we are dealing with. All of the options you will want will be available. You may have to upgrade for some of them but they will all be available to you.
We are getting closer to being able to give you more information.
